Cardinal
Our latest cropping variety for harvest late March to May. Produces medium to large deep purple spears with very good flavour on large framed uniform plants. The spears are ideal for fresh market sales and prepack.
Red Arrow
Produces medium sized, uniform deep purple spears with good flavour from February to April. Ideal for fresh market sales and prepack. Medium sized plants.
Rudolph
Bred to perform well in the September to February period but is at its best from November to February. Produces good sized spears ideal for fresh market sales and prepack. Plants are large framed and suit fertile, heavy soil types.
Summer Purple
A recent introduction and a breakthrough in our breeding. Summer Purple has been bred for summer production, cropping from late June to October depending on sowing date, season and location. A high yielding, large framed and versatile variety.
Red Admiral F1
Our first hybrid, Red Admiral is designed to crop in the important December to January window. The vigorous plants produce prolific high quality spears with small heads ideal for the premium prepack market and loose head sales. The spears are medium sized, dark purple and have an excellent flavour.
Red Spear
Outstanding cropper for the February to March harvest period with good spear colour and size on a medium size frame. Heavy cropper. Ideal for fresh market sales and prepack.
Redhead
For March to April production. Medium sized dark purple well flavoured spears on large framed plants. Ideal for fresh market sales and prepack.
TZ 5055 F1 (for trial)
Uniform, tall vigorous plants which mature from early to late February. The heads are easy to pick, medium to large in size with 8-10cm stem diameter and excellent dark purple colour.
White Eye
This Tozer selection of white sprouting broccoli produces really excellent white spears early in the season. Crops February to March.
White Star
Our own reselected stock of white sprouting broccoli to give quality spears in the April/May period.
