Aspen F1

Small vine produces uniform, round, medium maturity fruits, approx. 5 to 7kg with good skin colour.

Ghostrider

Normally 6 to 9kg with deep orange colour. Fine quality with good strong handles.

Mars F1

Early cropping semi-bush type. Fruits are 2 to 4kg, dark orange with a good handle and very uniform. High yielding in trials. Mars is a very reliable and adaptable variety.

Paintball F1

Very smooth skinned variety 2 to 4kg with great uniformity and ideal for Halloween painting. Rich orange coloured fruits on semi-bush habit giving good yields and having early maturity.

Pie Star F1

Approx 1.5 to 2kg fruit size. Early maturing pie pumpkin type producing high yields on a semi-bush plant. Produces attractive fruits with a relatively smooth skin. Good for Halloween and culinary use and stores well.

Racer F1

7 - 9kg fruits with good colour and strong handles. Semi-bush variety which matures early. A consistent, high yielding pumpkin.

Rocket F1

6 to 7kg uniform fruits with dark orange colouring and strong handles. Large vine type with midseason maturity and good yields.

Atlantic Giant

Atlantic Giant produces world record size pumpkins- the heaviest on record weighed 821.2 kg and was grown in Wisconsin in 2010. Fruits usually achieve 30-200kg depending on conditions. These huge pumpkins are a great talking point and look great as part of a display.

Baby Bear

Small fruited pie type approx. 750g to 1kg with uniquely naked seed. Relatively smooth skinned with good colour and strong handles. A good reliable cropper, early maturing and a reduced vine type. Should not be field drilled.

Becky

Attractive 2kg fruits, pie pumpkin type with good storage qualities and attractive fruits. Very early maturing short vined type with good yields. Ideal for culinary and Halloween use.

Cinderella

Semi-bush type with oval fruits of 4 to 6kg. Medium-early maturity.

Howden

7 to 11kg fruits. This is one of the bigger fruited varieties with deep orange colour and good ribbing. A large vine with medium to late maturity.

Munchkin

Small fruited approx. 125g, flattened shape with a attractive scalloped appearance. Very popular choice for table decorations etc. Good yields on a long trailing vine.

Small Sugar

2kg fruits widely grown in the UK. A very adaptable variety, long vine type for culinary and Halloween use.

Snowman

A novel white fruited type developed by Tozer. Medium size vines with medium early maturity and fruits averaging 4 to 6kg. On maturity the fruits should be placed into dark storage to maintain the white skin colour until required.

Summer Ball

Summer Ball can been sown up to the end of July and has a compact bush habit producing small yellow fruits which can be harvested and used as round yellow courgettes or fruits can be allowed to mature and form midi-size pumpkins, which can be stored for a short period. Use as a late sown field crop, for plant sales or as a patio plant. If required for pumpkin use we recommend thinning to 3 or 4 fruits per plant.

Sumo

A very large fruited exhibition type pumpkin. For the largest fruits grow one fruit per plant and space the plants widely. Smooth orange skinned fruits on a large vine. This is a C. maxima variety.
