Defender F1

Our first courgette variety with intermediate CMV resistance. High yielding, very early variety with attractive dark fruits.

Kojac F1

Spineless petioles for easy, scratch free harvesting for staff and the fruit. High yielding, dark coloured fruits which are easy to see and harvest.

Midnight F1

High yielding variety. Dark green glossy fruits produced on very compact, completely spineless plants. Easy to pick.

One Ball F1

Produces very attractive, round, yellow courgettes from a bush habit, these can be left to mature into midi sized pumpkins. For further details see page 25.

Parador F1

Typical golden yellow courgette fruits. High yielding, easy to see and pick. An improved Gold Rush type. Care must be taken at harvest to avoid causing blemishes and damage.

Patriot F1

Extremely prolific hybrid from Tozer. Early fruiting, fairly dark green, smooth and shiny fruits which are easy to see and pick.

Safari F1 (for trial)

A totally unique, brand new courgette with striking green striped fruits. The tasty perfectly cylindrical fruits are produced in abundance from spine free bush habit plants and look great sliced. A real contrast to standard courgettes.

Bambino F1

Smaller fruited bush variety specially bred for baby production. High yielding with very small end scar. Easy to see and pick.

Firenze F1

This variety out performs Ambassador in yield and grade out. Very slender, straight dark fruit. Has intermediate resistance to powdery mildew and widely adapted. Few spines.

Piccolo F1

A real dual-purpose variety. Produces and abundance of nearly round green striped courgettes which are a great shape for kebabs. These fruits can also be left to rapidly mature into small round marrows which are perfect stuffed. A neat spine free bush habit makes this variety easy to grow and perfect for container sales.

Summer Ball F1

Summer Ball can been sown up to the end of July and has a compact bush habit producing small yellow fruits which can be harvested and used as round yellow courgettes or fruits can be allowed to mature and form midi-size pumpkins, which can be stored for a short period. Use as a late sown field crop, for plant sales or as a patio plant. If required for pumpkin use we recommend thinning to 3 or 4 fruits per plant.

Sunstripe F1

Wonderfully vibrant golden yellow striped tasty fruits are produced from spineless bush habit plants. Great uniformity for shape and a high yielding variety with great flavour and texture. The leaves also produce golden markings.

Tuscany F1

High yield of very dark straight fruits. Erect plant, open habit, easy to pick with very few spines. Recent commercial trials have shown wide adaptability for the UK and Europe.
